I will admit that I was doing a much better job at this in the first couple of days than I have been this past weekend. On Friday I had to use someone else’s photo because I completely forgot to take one, and Saturday I must confess I did not take a picture but I did take one as soon as I woke up on Sunday. So that totally counts, right? Here’s my first 12 photos of my Project 365.
Day 1 – January 1, 2014: Happy New Year! I took a picture of my brunch because it was WIAW. I enjoyed a delicious mushroom, ham and cheese omelet with fried potatoes. This picture also features my favorite mug that says “I wish I was as thin as when I thought I was fat.”
Day 2 – January 2, 2014: Back into the swing of things. This picture is of our garage and our two cars parked inside of it. I am so glad that our new house has a two+ car garage and that I haven’t had to brush snow off of my car except for when it has snowed while I was at work.
Day 3 – January 3, 2014: A picture of the “before” in our guest bedroom. It was painted sky blue with one bright red wall and has blue carpet. One of my Project 365 pictures in the future will be of the finished project. I love how it turned out!
Day 4 – January 4, 2014: Words to live by – a quote from the Bible from the Letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians. This quote about love was a reading at our wedding and now we have artwork hanging on our wall in our living room. I absolutely love it.
Day 5 – January 5, 2014: I finally found the perfect place to display all of my husband’s water globes from Cedar Point – right on the fireplace mantle! This was a Sunday and the day before the Epiphany, or the 12th day of Christmas, so I decided to take down all of our Christmas decorations and wasn’t sure what to put in their place. So this is what ended up there!
Day 6 – January 6, 2014: A picture of something that happens every day – my cat begging for food in the morning!
Day 7 – January 7, 2014: A sneak preview of the new look in our guest bedroom, featuring Bella’s tail waltzing by the bedroom entrance.
Day 8 – January 8, 2014: My workout for the day, Prevention’s 2 Week Turnaround Strength. I think I am going to feature this in a “Stuff I Love” post because it is one of my favorite at home workout videos.
Day 9 – January 9, 2014: Homemade chicken noodle soup made for my husband. He hasn’t been feeling well and all he wanted was some good, hearty, homemade chicken noodle soup. I made it in the crock pot and it was yummy.
Day 10 – January 10, 2014: This is the one I borrowed from a friend. My best friend is pregnant and decided to do gender reveal cupcakes. This was a picture she posted on the cupcakes before they dug into them to find out whether they will be having a boy or a girl. It is a bumpy cake cupcake and the filling is colored either blue or pink! I love this idea and I definitely want to do some sort of a gender reveal if we ever have a baby.
Day 11 – January 11, 2014: Looking down this morning, this is what I saw. Yes, the picture was supposed to be for yesterday, but I totally forgot to take something. So while I was browsing the internet this morning, my cat hopped up on my lap and when I looked down, there she was! I have a feeling Miss Bella might be featured a lot on this Project 365…
Day 12 – January 12, 2014: Even though my alarm went off at 8:00 am, I hit the snooze button. It went off again at 8:10 am, and I hit snooze again. Then I popped up at exactly 8:16 am, which is the title of a 311 song, so I decided to snap a picture. That made my Project 365 for today very easy!
So there’s my first 12 days of Project 365. I hope to stick with it and end up with 365 pictures at the end of the year. I wonder how difficult it is going to be for me to remember what day I am on once the date doesn’t match the day of the project that I am on… ;)
