My Running Bucket List

I have been a runner since 2008, but just in the past year I have noticed that my passion for running has really flourished. I have had some huge accomplishments – I completed a training plan and ran a 10 mile race at the Crim Festival of Races and I have had multiple personal records in my 5k races. So as I was reading some inspirational posts about running and checking in on my own goals and my “Thirty by 30” list, I had an idea… why not make a “Running Bucket List”? A play on words, because the bucket list is for running, but it will also be a “running” list as I will add things to it as I get more ideas! :)

So here it is… your “Keeping It Real” Dietitian’s “RUNNING BUCKET LIST”

  1. Detroit Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot
  2. Mackinac Island 8 Mile
  3. Mackinac Island Great Turtle 1/2 Marathon
  4. Fifth Third Bank River Bank Run – 25k
  5. Detroit Free Press Half Marathon or 5k
  6. Sleeping Bear Half Marathon or 5k
  7. National Cherry Festival Festival of Races Half Marathon, 15k, 10k, or 5k
  8. Escape to Belle Isle 10k or 5k
  9. Vineyard to Bay 25k
  10. A Goddess Race (all women)
  11. Gazelle Girl Half Marathon or 5k
  12. Tahqua Trail Run 25k or 10k
  13. The Pittsburgh Half Marathon or 5k
  14. Martha’s Run in Mount Lebanon, PA 5k
  15. A Walt Disney World race!
