Keeping It Real

Keeping It Real: Where Did I Go?

I’ve been M.I.A. for too long now… starting to slack on one of my goals for 2012, which is keeping up with this blog!  So here’s what’s been going on and why I’ve been absent.

I started a new job.  And that new job decided to be crazy, hectic, and out of control.  I first started out working 3 days per week at one facility.  Then they wanted me only 1 day per week at that facility, and 2 days at another one.  I went to the second facility and I hated it.  I knew that I would not be happy coming to that place twice a week… or once a week… or ever!  Around the same time the owner of Inner Door Center (my main job, my first job as a dietitian) asked me to work another half day to another full day a week.  So I contacted the new job and let them know, and now I will only be working there 1 day per week at the original facility.  Whew!

I also had to work a shift or two at the music store – the job that I have had since high school.  And as you all remember I’m sure I’ve been dealing with my cat.  So when I finish my day, wherever the day takes me, the last thing I am in the mood for is trying to think of something spectacular to post about.  Just like this post… I sound like a whiner… and I don’t want to sound like that!

But I do have some “What I Ate” pictures that I’ll post next Wednesday, and I do have other updates about the wedding that I can share, so eventually I will get back into the swing of things and post more often.  Just wanted to let you all know that I haven’t forgotten about this blog and that I PROMISE I will be better about updating!

Ta-ta for now!
