I have been racing against myself for the past few years. It is really awesome to see my mileage and speed improve each year. So once again this year I will be “banking the miles” and trying to beat my mileage each month from the previous year.
This January was the best January for miles so far, and February is shaping up to be pretty great, too. In past years, I would have never imagined running 50 miles in a month and now it seems to be normal for me. Next month I have over 90 miles scheduled for my training… oh yeah, by the way, I’m training to run a half marathon in April! Dang!
So here’s my miles so far, and the miles I have to beat this year!
- January 2015: 17.48 miles / January 2016: 55.13 miles
- February 2015: 18.09 miles / February 2016: 39.45 miles so far…

- July 2015: 43.91 miles
- August 2015: 60.8 miles
- September 2015: 44.29 miles
- October 2015: 19.15 miles

- December 2015: 41.59 miles
