Goals for 2016, Ready to Go, Running

Ready to Go in 2016!

Time to continue my tradition! Once again, I want to run a race every month in 2016. And since illness and poor training stopped me from running a half marathon once again, I am BOUND and DETERMINED to run my first half marathon this year in 2016! I did it!!! I ran my first half marathon. :) And I will be running my second half marathon in September, In fact, I ran my second half marathon in September and I will be running my first 26.2 on October 16th – The Detroit Free Press International Marathon! I ran my first FULL marathon on 10/16/16 with my dear friend Staci! I’m officially a marathoner.

  • 5k: 32:11 – 10:22/mi (Silver Bells 2016)
  • 8k: 1:01:06 / 12:17 per mile (Winterlaufe 2016)
  • 10k: 1:10:56 / 11:25/mi (Mid-Land 2016)
  • 10 mile: 2:08:36 / 12:52 per mile (The Crim 2015)
  • Half marathon: 2:43:41 / 12:30 per mile (Capital City River Run 2016)
  • Marathon: 6:34:57 / 15:04 per mile (Detroit International Marathon 2016)

  • 10/1/16 – AIDS Run/Walk (Bay City) 41:18 – 13:18/mi
  • 10/8/16 – CMU Homecoming Miles for Medals 5k (Mt. Pleasant) 34:08, course PR! but unfortunately a short course, so not a 5k PR
  • 10/16/16 – Detroit Free Press/Talmer Bank Marathon (Detroit) 6:34:57 – 15:04/mi
